Yolanda studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Brest, painting under professors Jean-Pierre Auclair and Jean-Paul Thaeron, as well as sculpture and printmaking (1990–1993), where she obtained the French National Diploma in Plastic Arts (D.NA.P.).
Following examinations, she was accepted into the 3rd year at the Athens School of Fine Arts, in the painting studios of Nikos Kessanlis (1993–1994) and Chronis Botsoglou (1994–1997), where she received her degree in June 1997. Also following examinations, in 2000 she was accepted into the Printmaking Workshop of the Athens School of Fine Arts, under professors Michalis Arfaras and Yannis Gourzis (2001–2003, 2010, and 2012–2013), where she received her degree in June 2013.
She attended the elective scenography workshop of Giorgos Ziakas (A.S.F.A., 1994–1996, 1999–2001). She attended scenography and costume design seminars at St Martin's School in London in August 2000, as well as scenography and costume design seminars for theatre and television with scenographer Maria Chaniotaki (January 2003–April 2003 and May 2005–July 2005).
Following examinations, she was accepted for a 2nd-year master's degree in scenography at Université Bordeaux 3, France, in June 2011, which she did not attend for family reasons.
She also attended Aesthetic Education seminars for elementary school children at the Museum of Children's Art in Plaka, October 2006–May 2007.
She further attended Aesthetic Education seminars for elementary school children, which combined painting with music, theatrical play, and crafts, at the Theocharakis Foundation, June 2010.
